The Cork Butter Exchange Band, "Da Buttera"

The Cork Butter Exchange Band will be playing at an exhibition by the Shandon Historical Society at St. Paul's Church, North Main Street.  The band's recital will be from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

The Butter Exchange Band have been invited to open this years Over 60's Talent Show in Cork's City Hall on the 29th of May at 8pm.

Tickets can be purchased for the event at Pro Musica on Oliver Plunkett St. and at Blackpool Shopping Centre.

The Cork Butter Exchange Band will be once again leading the Corpus Christi Procession from The North Cathedral to Daunts Square in Cork City.  The procession will start at 3pm on the 29th May.   The Cornet section will perform the Royal Salute for the Benediction Service in Daunts Square.

One the service is over the Band will march back to the northside of Patrick's Bridge to the sound of our rousing marches.

The Cork Butter Exchange Band will be performing at the Lewis Glucksman Gallery on May 28th from 1:00 - 2:00pm.

May 22nd, 2016

The Buttera will once again be performing at the McSwiney Villas May Procession to the Virgin Mary on the 22nd of May from 4 - 4:45 pm.  The Band will lead the Procession down to the North Cathedral where a Benediction service will take place.

The Buttera will once again be performing at the Gurranabraher Parish Procession to The Virgin Mary.  The Procession takes place at 7.00pm outside Gurranabraher Church.

The Lee Rowing Club have invited the Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band to perform at their regatta on May 14th at 1:00pm. 

March 17th, 2016

The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will be participating in the Clonakilty St. Patricks Day Parade this year at 3pm.

If you blink fast enough, you might see us in the Parade twice.

As is tradition, we will also be participating in the Courtmacsheery Parade at 5pm.

December 16th, 2015

Members of the Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band and St. Nicholas Brass Band will be playing Christmas Carols outside the Maxol Service Station in Wilton from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.  All proceeds go to the L'arche Community charity.

November 29th, 2015

The Cork Butter Exchange Band will be performing at the annual Christmas Carols Concert in the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool.  The concert features: Linda Kenny, Paud O'Donoughue, Carrigaline Singers, Blackpool Church Choir, and the Scoil Oilibheir School Choir.  The concert will commence at 4pm.

The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band are once again leading Santa's arrival to Blackpool Shopping Centre Friday evening from 6pm.  Santa should be arriving all the way from the North Pole around 7pm.
Da Buttera will give a short recital beforehand.   Jingle Bells all the way!!!

Da Buttera will be playing outside Brown Thomas on Patrick's Street on Saturday 21st of November from 2:00 to 3:00pm.  This is in aid of the Cork Lions Club Flag Day which is running on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st of November from 9:30am to 6pm.  Please give generously.

The Buttera will be perfoming again at the Dragon of Shandon Festival on the 31st of October.

The Parade starts at 7:00pm from outside the Butter Museum, Shandon.

October 29th, 2015

The Buttera will be performing in St. Anne's Park, Shandon from 6:30pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday.  The Band will create a spoke atmosphere for the Dragon of Shandon.

The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will give a recital in Blackpool Shopping Centre for The Cork Jazz Festival.

The Buttera will perform a selection of Jazz and Swing numbers to get you in the mood.

The Buttera will be performing from 4pm to 5pm

The Buttera will be opening up their doors to the public on 18th September for the Cork Culture Night from 7pm to 9pm. Members of the public will be given a unique opportunity to see one of Cork's oldest bands rehearse and get an insight into what it is like to be part of the band. Members of the public will be free to ask questions of the Band so please come along and enjoy this unique event.

The Cork Butter Exchange Band will one again be performing at the Feast of the Assumption Procession to the Shrine of the Most Holy Rosary, Lee Road, Cork.

The Band will perform sacred hymns as part of the ceremony.

August 9th, 2015

The Buttera will give a recital for the final stage of the Munster Charity Cycle for Down Syndrome Ireland.  The recital time will be approximately 4.30  - 6 pm.

As part of the Mother Jones Commemoration The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will give a recital on the steps of The Shandon Bells from 6pm to 6:45pm before marching down to the Plaque to Mother Jones.

The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will be performing at the Cork SeaFest on Saturday 11th July 2015 in two locations.

Firstly in Ringaskiddy from 2pm to 3pm.

Secondly in the Port of Cork from 4:30pm to 17:30pm.

We will be performing at Cork Summer Show in Ballincollig on Sunday 21st of June at 12pm to 2pm on the promenade. It should be a great day of entertainment.

The Buttera will once again be performing at the Ballinlough May Procession to the Virgin Mary on the 24th of May.  The Procession will form up at 7.30 pm at the Ballinlough Community Centre.  The Band will the proceed to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for a Benediction Service.

The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will be performing from 10.30 am to 11:30 pm for the 99th Commemoration of the Easter Rising. The Commemoration is being held by the Cork City Council at The National Momument on Grand Parade.

The hugely popular and highly successful Cork Lifelong Learning Festival will take place from Monday March 23rd to Sunday March 29th 2015.
