Our
Story
The Band known to the people of Cork affectionately as 'Da Buttera' is a community based Wind Band with a focus on involvement in local community events and providing the people of Cork with free musical tuition to anyone willing to join the Band.
The Band plays at many events through out the year such as parades, festivals, regattas, open air recitals, sacred events and of course Christmas Carols.
Our
Music
The Band can cater for all sorts of events, e.g. Concert, Festivals, Marching Parades, Sacred and Christmas.

We can cover any mood including: Classical Overtures, light operatic, traditional airs for band, Swinging Jazz, Contemporary, Rock & Pop, even music from the movies and of course rousing marches.
Interested in joining?
The band rehearses every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm, with players of all abilities welcome to join in!

Lessons are also offered on Saturdays at noon.
